Exploring the model creator wizard

The model creator wizard allows you to design physical models from scan data.

Make sure you have a dongle for which the model creator wizard is enabled.

To start the model creator wizard:

On the Design your case card, click Create model. Alternatively, click Create Model on the Scan result card for a scan case.

There are two types of models:

Models "with plate" are similar to sectioned stone models, with detachable segments, using a pre-manufactured (pin) base plate.

Models "without plate" are monolithic models with removable dies embedded in a base with adjacent/healthy and gingival scan data. These models can be created "hollow".

The exact sequence of how to design your restoration depends on the type of restoration and the type of model.
