Setting-up the Scanner for Wax-up Bridge Scanning

Prerequisite

The Mounting an Object on the Scanning Table within the Scanning Range step must be completed.

Consider using the Advanced Settings before scanning an object.

Steps

  1. In the Crown and Bridge section, click Wax-up.
  2. In the Situation Manager drag the mouse over the tooth numbers that will hold the wax-up bridge.
  3. In the Scan List make sure the material type is Gypsum.
  4. In the Object type section, click Adjacent.
    Note: Adjacent scanning is optional.
  5. In the Situation Manager click the adjacent teeth of the wax-up bridge.
  6. In the Scan List select a material type for the Adjacent.
  7. In the Object type section, click Bite index.
    Note: Bite index scanning is optional.
  8. In the Scan List select a material type for the Bite index.
  9. In the Situation Manager drag the mouse over the teeth covered by the bite index.
