For a restoration case, the restoration information is retrieved from the case setup. Additional scan items, e.g. antagonist (opposing jaw), diagnostic or a bite index can be indicated and are listed on the right side.
Note
If a bite index has been indicated or if a bar restoration was planned, an antagonist scan is not available.
In the NobelProcera® 2G scan wizard, the scan setup appears on the first page.
In the KaVo LS 3 scan module, click Edit setup on the tasks panel. Select the height for all scan objects by choosing a value from the Model height drop-down list. The height is measured from the scanner platform to the top of the model.
Provided not all items have been scanned, you can add or edit the scan items in the scan setup. If you create a scan case, the scan setup will be opened just after entering the case information.
A visual representation of the scan items is shown on the tooth chart on the left side and on the list on the right side.

Pointing to an item highlights the associated planned scan on the tooth chart and vice versa.
Notes
A diagnostic scan should cover the same tooth positions as the planned restoration — no more, no less. Otherwise you will not be able to use the diagnostic CAD design.
Abutment position locator icons are shown for all planned abutments and full-contour implant crowns. Model position locator icons are shown for implant bridges on implant or multi-unit abutment level.
