KaVo LS 3 scans

To guide you through the scanning process, the scan tasks panel in the scan module and the KaVo LS 3 touch panel lists the scan tasks. Additional scan tasks can be added in the scan setup.

Note

If you create a scan case, the scan setup will be opened right after entering the case information. Edit the scan setup and click Finish to open the scan module.

After scanning or importing scans, all acquired scan data is available in the design module. To ensure accurate scan results, a calibration scan must be executed every 60 days. Make sure to calibrate the scanner before using it for the first time.

To close the scan module, click . When you have unsaved changes, a warning dialog is shown. Click Save & close to save the current scan setup and scans. Otherwise, click Discard & close.

Note

The scan process needs to be finished or aborted before the module can be closed.
