If a specific image acquisition device was selected and the device is not available, a warning message is shown. Click Change device to select another device.
If you selected an intraoral sensor or PSP device, you can choose to capture images with or without a template. In the former case, see Guided capturing for intraoral scanning. In the latter case, stay on the Free tab and continue with the next step. Indicate the captured teeth on the tooth range. The tooth range information is saved in the captured image so that the images are loaded on the correct placeholders in the intraoral workspace.
The scan request details are shown in the left pane. In the right pane, an image of the image acquisition device is shown. Go to the device to perform the scan.
Note
For an OP 3D Pro device, the device's user interface is displayed in the DTX Studio™ Clinic software on the right pane.
When the scanning is finished, click Finish to end the action, or click Open diagnose to open the diagnose module.
The image is added to the Patient data tab on the patient detail panel. The finished scan request is marked with a check mark . Click Open diagnose to start a new diagnosis in the diagnose module.
