On the Patient data tab of the details pane, every available image of the patient is represented by a thumbnail preview image. '(#)' indicates how many images are stored for this patient.
To filter the patient data on acquisition date or image type, click and choose one of the options.
Click to view the image data in grid view. Click
to view the image data per acquisition date.
For 2D images, a maximize icon will appear. Click the maximize icon or click the image to enlarge the 2D image. From here, you can navigate to the next or the previous 2D image or intraoral scan using the
and
arrow buttons, provided that there are other 2D images or intraoral scans on the patient data tab. When hovering the enlarged image, an action bar with rotate (
) and flip (
) options is available. Click
to restore down.
Note
If there is no local copy of the patient record, the preview mode will not be available.
Click View in Diagnose to view the image in the diagnose module. The most recent diagnosis that contains the image will be opened. If no diagnoses are available with that image, the image is added to the most recent diagnosis.
If you accidentally imported an image with an incorrect modality (a cephalogram, an OPG or an intraoral image), hover over the thumbnail of the image, click and select Change modality. Select the correct modality from the drop-down list and click Change modality. A message is shown when the image is already linked to a diagnosis to warn you that annotated measurements on the image will be removed.
If you accidentally captured or imported a 2D image for the wrong patient, hover over the thumbnail of the image, click and select Reassign. Enter the patient name of the correct patient and click Reassign. The image will be moved to the selected patient.
To delete an image, hover over the thumbnail of the image, click and select Delete.
On the Scan Requests tab, the scan requests for the patient are listed. '(#)' indicates how many scan requests are stored for this patient. This tab is only available if DTX Studio™ Clinic was installed together with DTX Studio™ Core.
