Scheduling a scan
Make sure you are connected to DTX Studio™ Core.
To order or schedule a scan request for a patient:
Select the patient record in the patients list

Click Scan request 
.
The image acquisition devices that are connected to DTX Studio™ Core, are represented by tiles, showing a picture of the device (if available) and the possible modalities. To select a device, hover over the device and click Select.
Notes
Busy devices are marked by an hourglass.
Offline devices are grayed out.
On the tooth chart, select the regions you want to scan.
Note
The temporomandibular joint can also be selected.
Enter the Scan date. Enter the Requesting clinician. By default, the logged in user is filled in automatically in this field. If the image acquisition device allows multiple modalities, select the requested modalities: 3D, CEPH (Cephalogram), IOXRAY and/or OPG. Select Sinus if the sinus needs to be scanned. If needed, add Request notes for the operator.

Required fields are marked with a red asterisk.
If everything is fine, click Finish. To select another device, click Back.
A scan request card is added to the Scan requests tab on the patient detail panel and the scan requests list.
To initiate the scan, click Start on the scan request card.
