Scanning a Standard CAD Bridge

Prerequisite

The Mounting an Object on the Scanning Table within the Scanning Range step must be completed.

Consider using the Advanced Settings before scanning an object.

Steps

From the Crown and Bridge section, click Standard CAD.
In the Situation Manager, drag the mouse over the preparations that will be part of the bridge.
Click Adjacent.

Note: Adjacent scanning is optional but is recommended for better results.
In the Situation Manager, select the adjacent teeth.
In the Camera View, align the numbered blue circles over their corresponding unit.

Note:
The blue circles must completely cover the units.
Click Scan.

Note:
Scanning can take several minutes.
Follow displayed instructions.

Note:
Steps 8 and 9 can be completed while scanning is being carried out.
Complete the information on patient, identifier, dentist and technician.
From the Restoration List list, select a shade and material type for each restoration.

Note:
Consider Improvement Options before proceeding to the next step.
Fit the bite index on the model.

Note: If you do not have the bite index, proceed to the last step. Bite index scanning is optional but is recommended for better results.
Click Bite index.
In the Situation Manager, select the teeth covered by the bite index.
In the Camera View, set the blue rectangle over the teeth covered by the bite index.
Click Scan

Note:
Consider Improvement Options before proceeding to the next step.
Click Finish.

Result

A situation is created with the scan. The situation is sent to the NobelProcera Crown and Bridge module where the Standard CAD bridge can be designed.
