Restoration details

On the right-hand pane of the Add case or Edit case wizard an overview is displayed of the restorations that are planned with an indication of the tooth position(s) on which they are planned. Click on a restoration (in the list or on the tooth chart) to open the details for that restoration. Click left arrow or Back to overview to go back to the overview list.

When you point to a restoration, the corresponding item in the tooth chart is highlighted and vice versa.

If the diagnostic workflow is available for the planned restoration, you will have the option to select the applicable Design flow: Start from library or Start from diagnostic.

Notes can be entered in the text box below the tooth chart. For a case that was created from a request, the notes are copied from the request.

Redefining restorations

To replace a restoration with another type of restoration:

On the restoration overview or on the tooth chart, click the restoration you want to redefine.

Select the parameters on the right-hand panel.

The restoration is replaced by the newly defined one.

Notes

If a new bridge overlaps a previously planned bridge, the latter is removed.

If a bridge is removed, its interfaces are not removed. They are to be removed or replaced separately.

A bar cannot be combined with other restorations.

Deleting restorations

To delete a restoration:

Right-click a restoration on the tooth chart.

Select Remove.

Alternatively, delete restorations via the Restorations details list:

Point to a restoration in the list.

A Remove icon x is shown. Click it.

A confirmation dialog is displayed. Click OK to remove the selected restoration or Cancel to revoke the action.

Note

If a bridge is removed, its interfaces are not removed. They are to be deleted separately.

To remove all the assigned restorations, click Remove all in the upper-right corner of the Restoration details list. A warning message appears. Click OK to continue removing all the assigned restorations. Click Cancel to discard.
