Draw a straight line on an image

To draw a straight line on an image:

1.     Make sure you have opened an image in the Image Viewer.

2.     Optionally, set brush size and/or color for the line tool. Click here for more information about this function.

3.     In the Image Viewer, click Line in the Annotate group of the Image Viewer toolbar.

4.     Now click and drag the mouse to draw the line in any direction. The thickness and color are set according to the size and color selected in the tool settings.

Notes

‒       Hold down the Shift key and drag the mouse horizontally to draw a horizontal line.

‒       Hold down the Shift key and drag the mouse vertically to draw a vertical line.

‒       Hold down the Shift key and drag the mouse diagonally to draw a diagonal line of 45°.
