To open this workspace, click 3D Patient on the workspace bar. Alternatively, press [F2].

This workspace is only available if a 3D (CB)CT scan or a 3D dental scan is added to the diagnosis.
The 3D patient workspace consists of a 3D viewer and three 2D reslice viewers (an axial, a sagittal and a coronal 2D viewer). Via the Layout tab of the smart panel, you can add a cross-sectional viewer
, add or remove reslice viewers, and add or remove related images.
Note
If only a dental scan is added to the diagnosis, the 3D patient workspace consists of a 3D viewer only.
To focus on a specific point, press the F key. Alternatively, on the title bar of the viewer, click the down arrow , and select Point focus
. The cursor will change into a cross. Click a point in the 3D viewer or in a 2D reslice viewer. All the reslices will jump to the indicated position.
To activate the SmartFocus in the 3D viewer, press the spacebar. Hover over a tooth and the tooth number will be shown. Press the space bar again or right-click to disable the SmartFocus.
When the SmartFocus is activated, click on a tooth region to go to the 3D tooth workspace with the data for that respective tooth loaded in the viewers. Now you can diagnose on tooth level.
