Scanning a Batch of Copings

For Wax-up and Standard CAD coping scanning only.

Copings must be mounted on a batch scanning holder.

The Mounting an Object on the Scanning Table within the Scanning Range step must be completed.

Consider using the Advanced Settings before scanning an object.

  1. From the Scan List, click Batch scanning.
  2. Enter information on patient, identifier, dentist and technician.
Note: The text entered in the Identifier field will be displayed on the tab.
  3. Click Standard CAD or Wax-up, depending on the type of coping being scanned.
  4. In the Situation Manager, select the tooth with the coping.
  5. In the Camera View, set the blue circle over the corresponding coping.
  6. From the Restoration List, select a material type and shade of each restoration.
  7. Repeat steps 2 to 5 for each coping of that patient.
  8. Click the new tab.
  9. Repeat steps 2 to 5 for each coping for the new patient.
  10. Repeat steps 7 and 8 for each patient.
  11. Click Scan.

The more copings there are to scan, the more time scanning will take.

  12. When scanning is completed, click Finish.

One situation file is created for each patient. The situation file will include the scanning of all the copings scanned for the patient. Then the situation files are sent to the NobelProcera Crown and Bridge module where copings can be designed.
