Changing the Scanning Resolution

Prerequisite

This setting is available with gums, adjacents and jaw regions for abutments.

Steps

In the Scan List, click next to the object.
In the Advanced Settings dialog box, select medium or high resolution.
Note: Scanning time is gained at the cost of a slightly lower precision in the scan.

Result

Scanning is performed at the selected resolution.
