Select the rotation movement type in the smart panel for the specified bone segments. The fragment you selected is highlighted in the 3D scene and the cursor changes into a rotation cursor.
Notes
This movement action temporarily disables all other actions in the ribbon. A tooltip is shown to indicate that you are in 'rotation' mode.
By default the maxilla incisor point is used as the rotation point. Should you wish to adjust it, go to the Adjust rotation point action.
Click and drag the highlighted fragment. A circle and label visualize the rotation plane and angle.
Click and drag the mouse up and down or left and right to rotate around the relevant axis.
Note
While rotating, the rotation axis is locked. To rotate around a different axis, you have to release the mouse first.
Right-click to finish the rotation action. The movement is also shown on the smart panel.
Click the Rotation action in the smart panel of the bone segment you wish to move.
Define the angle of the movement. This can be done for roll (R), pitch (P) or yaw (Y). Enter the degrees directly in the box. Alternatively, use the + and - buttons of the spin box to determine the appropriate angle.
Click Finish.
