Scan item statuses

When the scanner generates DICOM files, and those files are processed within the TeamPorter application, the scan items get one of the following statuses.

Ready: When a scan item gets the Ready status, all the slices in the DICOM set are available. The scan item can be used in NobelClinician®to create a patient file.

Note

Some of these scan might have orange warnings, but when the slices are successfully converted into a scan item they can still be used. The use of these scans is always at the user's own clinical risk.

In progress: When a scan is still being processed by the TeamPorter application, the scan item is shown as disabled, as it is not possible to create a new patient with scan items that are not yet completely created in NobelClinician®.

Failed: If the scan was not processed successfully during the generation of the scan item (e.g. the DICOM file could not be converted or something went wrong when trying to move the file to a specific folder), the scan item is marked as 'failed'. It cannot be used for the creation of a patient file.
