Explaining the scan order wizard

The scan order wizard consists of the following pages:

On the first page enter all the necessary details for the scan order.

Check whether the dental lab works with a 2G NobelProcera® System.

1.     Enter the e-mail address of the dental lab that will process the order. Either type it in or select it from the list of contacts.

       Click Contacts to open the list.

       Select the e-mail address from the list of contacts. Each time a new address is used, it will be added to the list when the order is saved.

       Click Add. The e-mail address is added to the To column.

       Click Select.

It is not possible to add more than one e-mail address for a laboratory. If an e-mail address was previously entered, it must be removed before a new e-mail address can be added. To deselect a recipient's e-mail address, select the e-mail address in the To column and click on Remove to delete it from the recipients. Select a new e-mail address.

2.     Indicate the jaw type for which a dental scan is ordered.

3.     In the service list, the scan of the dental cast is checked by default. A scan of the diagnostic wax-up can be ordered as well.

4.     Type in the preferred delivery date (format yyyy-mm-dd) or select it from the calendar drop-down. This is the ultimate date you wish to receive the scan of the dental cast.

5.     If necessary you can enter special instructions to the dental lab in the dedicated Note box.

6.     Click Next to jump to the next page.

Additional details

On this page patient details such as first and last name as well as patient ID are entered.

The clinician's name is filled out with the data retrieved from the used NobelClinician user account. The return address is to be entered manually. It will be saved for future use, but it can be changed if necessary.

Tick the box(es) of the items that will be sent to the lab such as a dental cast, a bite index, an impression or something else. In the latter case, you have the option to specify what was sent.

To send the order immediately after it is finished, keep the Send order after finishing check box marked.

When you click Finish the order is added to the order list and the unique order number is retrieved from the server.
