When you open the patient menu, you will find a tooth chart visualizing the teeth and the diagnostic findings.
Notes
If the patient is younger than eight years old, the tooth chart for primary teeth is shown.
For a patient on DTX Studio™ Core, the system will check whether new data are present. If new data are available, they are downloaded from DTX Studio™ Core and added, together with the previously gathered data, to an automatically created new diagnosis.
If a tooth has at least one finding, it has a colored outline on the tooth chart. The color depends on the treatment status of the finding.
To edit a tooth on the tooth chart, click the tooth and select one of the following:
Option | Description | |
![]() |
Exchange | Exchange a primary tooth with an adult tooth. This option is available if the child tooth has a corresponding adult tooth. If the tooth is exchanged, all the findings of the primary tooth are deleted and the new tooth is reset to healthy. |
![]() |
Not present with gap | This tooth has been extracted. |
![]() |
Impacted | The tooth fails to erupt into the dental arch within the expected developmental window. Wisdom teeth often are impacted. |
![]() |
Insert | Insert a tooth, e.g., an adult molar in a child dentition. |
![]() |
Not present without gap | Indicate hypodontia. |
Below the tooth chart, the diagnosis data are shown. Here you can organize the scans and images for the open diagnosis.
In the text field on the bottom of the window, type text to add a patient note (maximum 700 characters).
