The Retentions positioning tool is dedicated to the Hybrid bar to place small 'bumps' on the bar to increase its retentive properties.
When designing a Hybrid bar, you are allowed to configure and place retentive elements from the Retentions parameters.
Note
Some markets may restrict the use of the retentive elements on bars; in that case, a message will appear.
Click Activate retentions positioning .
From the Retentions parameters, select Show retentions.
Place the cursor over the bar. It turns into a circled red dot. Click at the position where you wish to place the retention.
Adjust the radius and the height of the retention using the Height and Radius fields in the Retentions parameters or using the cursor.
If using the cursor, adjust the height and the radius by dragging them directly on the object.
Notes
Hover the retention with the cursor. When a red cap appears on the top of the retention, you can drag the height (1 mm - 6 mm in height). When an orange circle appears around the circumference of the retention, you can drag the radius (0,5 mm - 1,5 mm radius).
Notice the highlight colors around the retentions. Red means the retention is too close to another retention or cylinder. White shows the selected retention.
