Teeth

Tooth annotation is used to show dental roots and crowns in the created model. This is useful, for example, to find collisions between planning objects and neighboring teeth or to diagnose the existing teeth.

To annotate a tooth, first select a tooth on the displayed tooth chart and adjust the center position of the tooth, if needed. Mark the tooth by coloring the CT data to create the tooth segmentation. When the tooth is successfully segmented, a surface is created and added to the scene as a separate object.
