Installation and registration of DTX Studio™ Lab

To begin using DTX Studio™ Lab, installation and registration of the software must first be completed.

Installing DTX Studio™ Lab

Install the software according to the 'DTX Studio™ Lab installation guide', that can be found on the DTX Studio™ Lab installation website.

How to register DTX Studio™ Lab

To register the software:

Double-click the DTX Studio™ Lab install application.

The DTX Studio™ Lab End User License Agreement is displayed. Read it carefully. If you wish to print the End User License Agreement, click Print.

To accept the agreement, click I accept the terms in the license agreement, and click Next.

Enter the installation key in the input fields. Click Next.

Select the desktop scanner to be used or choose to continue without a scanner device. Click Next.

Note

The default scanner device can be changed afterwards in the Scanners settings.

Select a Working folder. This is the location where you will save your DTX Studio™ Lab cases. Click Next, and then click Finish.

The 'Instructions for Use' (IFU) are shown in a printable format. Read these instructions carefully.

A DTX Studio™ Lab icon is now available on your desktop. Double-click it to start the software. Alternatively, start DTX Studio™ Lab by clicking the Windows^® Start button. Browse the list of all programs that appears and click on DTX Studio™ Lab. Then click DTX Studio™ Lab to start the software.

At all times the 'End user license agreement' is available in the Account details dialog.

The dongle

Before you start designing in DTX Studio™ Lab, make sure your dongle is plugged into your workstation.

Otherwise, if you try to open the design module, an error message will appear.
