To visualize the distance to (or the intersection with) antagonists, click Show distances in the CAD menu. A new window will appear and the CAD display will show the distance to the antagonist for each restoration, color-coded as follows:
Click the drop-down arrow [1] to expose additional controls as follows:
The Scaling slider [2] controls the color scaling, visualized in the false-color bar above. [3] indicates the maximum intersection or closest distance at the current mouse position. Use the check boxes [4] to enable/disable visualization both for antagonist intersection/distance and intersection/distance to adjacent teeth. Switch between visualization of intersections and visualization of distance by expanding the list box [5] and selecting an option.
The default is Show intersections, indicating the distance the scans overlap. Show proximity [6] changes the display to measure the distance between non-overlapping scans. Show contacts [7] will show adapted contact points in blue.
Tip
Visualize distance/intersections on healthy teeth (that is, on scan data) by selecting Include healthy teeth [8] in the list.
To disable all visualizations, click Show distances in the CAD menu.
