Trim scan
On every wizard page where a scan can be checked (except for the locators scan), unnecessary scanned material can be cleaned up manually.
On the Check scanned models page, click Trim scan 
.
If there is more than one scanned object that can be trimmed, click on the object that needs trimming.
In the 3D viewer, click points on the model to indicate the cutting line around the area that needs to be trimmed. Use the interaction icons in the upper-right corner to interact with the model. Use the visibility icon to hide or show scanned models. Make sure that the line you draw, follows the surface of the scanned model.
Finish by right-clicking or by clicking on the point that was placed first.
In the Trim model panel, click Next.
The model is being cut.
The largest part of the model is highlighted. Choose to remove or to keep the highlighted part by clicking Delete part or Keep part.
Choose to trim another part, to remove the trimming by clicking Reset trim, or to continue by clicking Next.
