Explore the LS 3 scan module
The image below shows the different components of the KaVo LS 3 scan module interface.

Click the patient name or the patient ID in the upper-left corner to open the patient menu. Here you can verify whether the correct patient record is opened, or change the LS 3 scan preferences. Click outside the patient menu or  to close the patient menu. |

The tasks panel lists the scan tasks. |

The 3D viewer shows the current scanned data in the 3D scene. If locators were scanned, replicas of the implants will be added to the 3D scene. Use the interaction icons in the upper-right corner of the screen to interact with the model. Use the clinical view icons on the lower left part to set the viewing angle to a fixed clinical view. |

Click  on the right bar to open the smart panel. Here you can set the visibility of each object in the 3D scene. |

The tools menu allows you to import or to trim scan data. |
