Attachment positioning parameters
The options for the Activate attachment positioning 
tool are available for Round, Dolder (all types), Hader, Free-form milled and Paris bars. Depending on the type of bar being designed, displayed options will vary.
Click Attachment positioning 
in the right-hand menu bar.
| Option | Description |
| The first drop-down list allows you to choose the type of attachment to be placed on the distal extensions (only Boule-Bredent at this time). | |
| Thickness around attachments | Specifies the minimum thickness required around all positioned attachments. The software will add material around the attachment if this criterion is not met (default is 0.5 mm). |
| The second drop-down list allows you to choose: — Selection mode: Moves an attachment that is already placed on the bar. — Placement mode: Adds a new attachment to the bar. — Removal mode: Removes an attachment that is already placed on the bar. |

| Show seatings | Displays or hides attachment seatings on the bar. |
| Show attachments | Display or hides attachments on the bar. |
| Show attachments' secondary parts | Display or hides the secondary parts of the attachments. |
| Fit bar to attachments | Changes the shape of the bar to have a flat base with the occlusal plane. |
| Remove all | Removes all attachments from the bar except the ones on extensions. |
| The third drop-down list allows you to choose which type of attachment will be positioned in the placement mode. |
